Spanish courses
CELA (Centro de Lingüística Aplicada) offers Spanish courses in six different levels from A1 to C2 Level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR).
Spanish courses are arranged in small groups of students with a maximum of seven students per level. All courses can also be taught in private Spanish lessons if the learner requires it. Spanish classes take place from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Alongside the Spanish course, the school also offers Spanish courses for specific purposes in the following fields: medicine, commerce, law, and tourism. We can also arrange an internship in a local company.
CELA Spanish School also provides teacher training courses for Spanish teachers several times per year. The courses focus mainly on didactic aspects, and on the methodology of teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
Once the students have completed the Spanish course, they can take the DIE examination (Diploma Internacional de Español). This examination is recognized by the department for Spanish language and regional studies of the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in Spain.
Additionally, the school offers extra curricular activities and organizes accommodation for students with local host families.
A Spanish course at CELA is a good opportunity to combine learning the Spanish language with a vacation in the Caribbean.
